Eric and I agree, this was a really good Christmas. We had so much fun with Claire, and all of the Corliss family. Although Claire still doesn’t understand what Christmas is, she still enjoyed all the pretty decorations, opening presents, playing with her cousins and getting dressed up.
We went to a breakfast with Santa at the Puyallup Pavilion a couple weeks ago. Sandy got us all tickets and it was a fun thing for the family to do together.
Erica says we need to put a gallery together of all the photos where Claire is crying and Scarlett is looking at her quizzically. That would be almost all the photos we have of the two of them!
Moms making it work.
Green eyed girl!
Eyelashes.
Aunt Kara and Uncle Fudgie came into town for a few days. We had a gift exchange breakfast with them a couple days before Christmas. They gave Claire a cool walker/push toy with lots of colors, noises and parts to play with. Claire really likes it!
On to another family gathering! We had dinner at Great Grandma and Grandpa Corliss’ house a couple days before Christmas.
Christmas Eve we headed back to Grandma Sandy’s house for the Britt Family Christmas party. Claire was getting a little worn out by this point, as the photos evidence.
Note Gavin in this photo….always looking good for the camera!
Christmas chaos.
Adorable Christmas jammies! I love them!
A little Christmas morning at our house. Claire got some boots from me and Dad. You think I would know her size, but the 12-18 month boots are still HUGE for her! She can probably wear them next year. Tiny feet!
A stuffed toy elephant from mom.
All the cousins Christmas morning! I’m sure Sandy must have been worn out by this point. (She had to take Kara and Fudgie to the airport at 5:00 AM!)
Grandma Sandy spoiled all the kids with tons of presents. I’m a fan of presents, so I thought it was fun!
Honey got a special Christmas treat and got to come with us to Sandy’s. She only tried to eat the garbage once.
Having Claire in our lives makes everything so much more special now. I loved Christmas this year and I usually just kind of tolerate it. Next year will be even more fun!
Uncle Chris and Uncle Jordan sent Claire a sweet gift this year. It made me cry! You can see the slideshow they made at this link.
